After completion of undergraduate studies at the Christian Medical College, Vellore, he went on to complete his higher speciality training in Neurosurgery in the same institution. After qualifying as a Neurosurgeon, he honed his skills in Vascular Neurosurgery, Epilepsy Surgery, Endoscopic Surgery and trans-oral spine surgery. He worked in the King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh as faculty, after which he moved to Bangladesh for a few years. He headed the Neurosciences Department at the MIOT International, Chennai, for 5 years. In 2018, he took over as the project lead for Naruvi Hospitals, and has been involved in setting up the hospital, from design to execution. He is now the Executive Director of the hospital. However, his passion is still Neurosurgery and continues to see patients (on appointment) and do complex surgeries.
