Dr. Pranita Vanjare MD finished her MBBS from Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, Punjab and MD (Geriatrics) from the Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore. On completion of her higher training, she worked as faculty at Christian Medical College Vellore. During this tenure, she was involved in training physicians from all over India in the practice of Geriatric Medicine. She has extensive experience in managing neurological disorders in the elderly, geriatric emergencies and preventive geriatrics. Her special interest is in managing multiple co-morbidities in the elderly. Dr. Pranita runs a very active Geriatric Unit at Naruvi Hospitals, a specialty that is clearly rare in this country.
