Dr. Santosh Thomas Samuel, MBBS, MD, DGO, did his MBBS and MD (OBGyn) in the renowned Christian Medical College & hospital (CMCH), Vellore. After his post graduation he was instrumental in establishing / restarting OBGYN departments at SLR & TC, Karigiri, CSI-RD MLL Hospital, Madanapalle & CMC Vellore, Chittoor campus. He has been doing Obstetrics and Gynaecology for more than a decade as a specialist in the field. He is well trusted, patient oriented and an experienced specialist in infertility care and women’s health. His high levels of skills in the management of complex labour and its complications as well as emergency & Critical Obstetrics and Gynaecology has earned him a good reputation in his field of specialisation. He worked as a visiting surgical consultant for PROLASA at Goma, Democratic Republic of CONGO. His special interests are normal vaginal birth & vaginal birth after caesarean section, vaginal surgeries - especially scar less/natural orifice hysterectomy (NOH)/non-descent Vaginal hysterectomy (NDVH) for big uterine fibroids.
